1st Attempt at M&P Soap

I got online one morning, and started researching how to create my own homemade soaps. I discovered the method of melt and pour and how easy it was to do. After much reading and understanding I went to my local soap supplier picked up some supplies and headed home to make my 1st batch of soap.

Here are my findings:

1. It was so easy to do.
2. I melted the soap base in the microwave at 30 second intervals.
3. Then I added my fragrance and color.
4. Poured into my soap mold.
5. After 4 hours or so I came back took it out of the mold, and voila!

I got my 1st batch of m&p soap.

I was surprised how well it turned out for my 1st try, and I do have to say I had a lot of fun doing it. I played around with some Jasmin flowers in one of my soaps, and the other one I added a coconut exfoliate to the soap.

I scented the pink one with raspberry/Jasmin scent (Jasmin flowers).
Off-White one I scented with banana and the natural scent of the coconut exfoliate. It smells sooooo good!

I have been using the soaps one for hand washing the other as a body scrub/soap for the shower, and I will say even my bf loves them. lol!

I do all natural soap bases. There are no sulfates, no parabens, nothing of that sort.

Here's a picture of my finished product!

A little about Me and My Homemade Bath Goodies Business!

It all started when I 1st discovered Lush Cosmetics a few months ago. I was so impressed with their bath bombs & bubble bars, their soaps and all their products they supply that I became obsessed with them.

I just love the excitement it brings to my bath experience, how a little product like a bath bomb can help you relax and enjoy the moment. It fills the room with such a nice aroma and looks so pretty in the water. Mind you I love to place them all around my bedroom as a fun display and as a bonus it smells heavenly in my room.

To top it all off, this was my inspiration. To create my own homemade bath products natural as possible, without chemicals, and all that junk that is not really good for your skin. I want to stick to simple, yet nourishing ingredients your skin will love and thank you for in the long run. Things like Shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil, all these wonderful nutrients being added to your skin. You will look and feel great at the same time.

I truly believe in taking care of your skin at an early age. Sure, there are many cosmetics, bath and beauty products out there, and we all love to try these products out, but you need to think of treating your body, skin and mind with good nutrients to make your look and feel young. Exercise, eating well, all these wonderful things all go hand in hand in making you the best you can be.

My goal with creating my own homemade bath products is 1st knowing exactly what is going into my products. Secondly, the love I have for creating and making beauty products. I will be sharing with you melt and pour soaps I create, bath bombs, relaxing bath salts, and there will be many more to come!

As I will continue to grow and learn more, I will be opening an online store to sell these products, as well as you can always email me to learn more about the products and how you, yourself can purchase them.

I am so looking forward to share with my story and to learn from other soap makers, as well as to engage with my fans.
